Vintage Festivals
In 2013 we’ve had some amazing vintage festival fun, with the first amazing festival being YO1 festival in our lovely hometown of York (on York Racecourse).
The second vintage festival took place at Scampston Hall in Malton featuring amongst other things – a classic car rally with about 150 vintage classic cars! Live singing, dancing and of course all of our usual fantastic vintage stalls and workshops. It was a simply wonderful day out and thousands of vintage lovers turned out to help us celebrate our wonderful history and culture in style! At the end of August we enter the Field of Dreams, which is set to be a fun filled weekend of cars, live music, fine food and ales and of course ‘Britain Does Vintage.
This year we are delighted to be working in association with Pickering Showground on the fabulous ’Pickering Wartime & 1940’s Weekend’ 11 – 13 October 2013.
This years 1940′s shenanigans include:
A full itinerary of daytime entertainments including singers, dancing, workshops, fashion shows, best dressed competitions, beauty bar, militaira & lots of lovely 1940’s vintage stalls.
WWII re-enactments, living history groups, vintage fairground rides, Park & Ride, camping, fully licensed Bar, plus much more!
